Night 4: Olympic Drama

So the Olympic sport of Community dinner was a success! Thanks to all of those countless generations of Chinese people that contributed to the recipes of the dishes. On the other hand this may be the last entry, due to lack of interest in the blog :( Oh well, it was worth a try.

Night 2: Happy Sorbet for Everyone

At long last, here are some pics from Jaime and Heather's great meal. It was a veggy affair with tofu, green beans, rice and for dessert... Homemade sorbet of course (a happy sorbet at that).

Everything was great. Although I'd have to say the green beans were my personal fave. Recipes people, we need recipes!

Night 3: What nice loaves you have

Well, another night has passed and another awesome meal has been consumed. Kathy and Tim pulled out all the stops from their decadent strawberry rhubarb torte to the grilled salmon (first I've had in months) and the great cucumber salad.
Personal favorite was the homemade walnut bread, but that might just be because I'm a bread nut (get it? oh well...). On to another dinner next week.
It was also great to share the meal with the Presto's (with their amazing netflix envelopes) and Marina.

SC^3

Wonderful food and company... My favorite was the tomatoes with horseradish (interesting combination), but everything was delicious. Long live SC^3!

Big Night

So it has begun. The SC Supper Club has gotten off the ground, and here's the blog to prove it (hey, we live in the age of information right?).

Tonight was a success with BBQ Pork tenderloin, a tomato salad, lemon potatoes, green beans, grilled eggplant, and of course the fresh Blackberry crisp with Vanilla ice cream. Here's to a long and healthy life of the Super Club, and here's to hoping some of the recipe's get recorded for posterity (and other things).
